The Belle Epoque was a period in European social history that began in France in the late 19th century and lasted until WWI. This was considered a 'Golden Age' for the civilized world as this was a time of peace among the major powers of Europe, as well as one of great financial stability, and amazing scientific discoveries which made luxuries more readily available. Art, architechture, music & fashion were all moving swiftly forward to modern times. I have chosen scents that were popular for perfumes of the time and combined them for a luscious and rich scent that embodies the luxury of the era.
